We will be hosting a wine tasting evening with nibbles on Friday 26th April at 19:00.

Two award winning sparkling wines plus two table wines will be on offer from Ashling Park Estate. There will also be the opportunity to purchase wine from their vineyard and have it delivered to the pavilion.

Ashling Park Estate, located in West Ashling, dates back to 1822. This family run 50 acre vineyard has produced many award winning wines over the years.

The estate is fortunate to have loamy soil and a sheltered position which provides the perfect environment for growing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier – the holy trinity of sparkling wine grapes. Regent, Rondo and Bacchus grapes are also grown and used for making still wine.

Dermot Sugrue is one of the most talented winemakers in the industry, and he supervises the magical transformation from vine to sparkling wine.
