Linocut Printing Workshop with SouthSeaEyes

Introducing a beginners guide to Linocut printing with Nusye McComish from SouthSeaEyes.

In this 2 hour workshop, Nusye will walk through linocut relief printmaking tools and techniques. You will explore mark-making with the provided tools onto the surfaces / blocks. Inking and hand-printing of your block then follows, with the aim to create a print and/or greetings card for you to take home.

We provide relevant materials, tools, apron, and refreshments. If you have own picture references, please bring along. Nusye will also provide some image references onsite and tracing paper to transfer onto the block.

This linocutting and printing workshop is a taster and a short introduction, perfect for complete beginners and refreshers in printmaking. Suitable for 18+. Whilst Nusye will provide aprons to wear, it’s recommend to wear suitable casual attires.

The workshops take place on Monday February 28th at 10:00 and 13:30 in Café Fresco.

Tickets are £50.00 per person (£25.00 for CourtX members) and can be purchased in at reception. Places are limited so we encourage early sign-up!
